I read an article about the comparison of some netbooks and the operating systems installed on them. The article seems to have a favorable review of the HP Mini 110 Mi edition because it seems to like how its Dashboard works. The Mi is running a Linux based on Ubuntu and its user interface which is basically an aggregation of the user’s recently received emails, thumbnails of favorite websites, as well as the favorite applications of the user.
The review of the HP Mini 110’s Mi edition looks interesting and it does remind me a little of Moblin because of its different approach to giving a desktop interface to its users. One thing I don’t like about the Mi is that it will only be available with an SSD. As much as I suppose that SSDs are great for netbooks, I’d rather have a hard disk [...]
