Gimmie this and that and all my favorites

My friend showed me his desktop yesterday and I found it oh so funky! He’s using Gimmie to find his favorites: be it apps or people that chats with on IM. It’s basically his panel now and I found it cute and useful, especially if you’d like to immediately see the people you’ve talked with especially when it comes to work. Also, what’s useful about it is that you could immediately search for something like an app or a name. In a way it reminds me of Beagle search but this is mainly from the panel and it could launch the stuff that you have.

Waterproof LCD TVs for Indoor or Outdoor Use

The first thing that popped into my head while reading the words “Waterproof TV” was a wild fraternity house, and cans of beer being shaken and sprayed all over the walls. Why else would you need a waterproof TV?! I suppose there is the off chance of a leak, or a flood, a kitchen mishap, or some other unfortunate water damage, but the thought of beer flying all over is much more entertaining.

The cleverly named Soak TV line features Waterproof LCDs for use indoors or outdoors, which means you can use it near your pool with no worries that it will be damaged. It comes with the option of hooking up a PC or DVD player, as well as stereo speakers.
