These skinny new external drives from Western Digital are the hotness. They’d be even better if they came in prettier colors, but I’ll take what I can get. No power supply needed, they are powered by the USB bus. Available in metallic red, vibrant green(aka slime green), glossy black and white, and all for $199. Or, go with the 120GB or 160GB version for less.

250GB - that’s 71,000 photos, 62,000 MP3s, or 100 hours of DVD quality video. That’s a whole lotta stuff to carry around in such a tiny little thing.
