I’ve been reading various things about the Asus EEE. Some blogs and emails talked about its usefulness and some talked about problems it still had. Every gadget has a purpose, perhaps. And users, of course.
Here’s a “demo” of what to expect when you have one. As one email said, it looked like Windows XP. Hmmm. Maybe a bit. The color scheme is reminiscent of Windows XP but the icons are lovelier, I think. And the tabs weren’t on the XP. It has the basic apps needed for working, learning and playing. Probably the student’s budget laptop, especially for those who don’t have to write code or use RAM and harddrive space-consuming apps.
